About Hames Partnership

John Hames ACMA started the business in November 1985 after a career of senior appointments in large listed companies. He initially worked as a PERA registered consultant for various companies, which resulted in those companies requiring more accounting services and management control.

This natural progression has led to a practice, which includes Lisa Hames ACMA and Peter Hames BSc in computing, with experience in a wide range of matters. The work force includes a chartered accountant, staff training for professional qualifications in addition to qualified management accountants and IT support.

Their experience includes accountancy work for UK subsidiaries of multinational companies, household names and quoted companies right down to clients whose turnover is below the VAT threshold.
