John Hames (ACMA) started the business in November 1985 after a career of senior appointments in large listed companies. He initially worked as a PERA registered consultant for various companies, which resulted in those companies requiring more accounting services and management control.

The practice, which now includes daughter Lisa Hames (ACMA) and son Peter Hames (BSc hons), provides experience in a wide range of accounting, financial and business matters. There are also 6 other members in the work force all contributing different and valuable skills to successfully provide a vast range of first class services tailored to different clients needs.

Collective experience includes accountancy work for UK subsidiaries of multinational companies, household names and quoted companies right down to clients whose turnover is below the VAT threshold.
